This small device plugs into your cigarette lighter port of your car. The other end attaches to the iPhone. There is an illuminated panel which shows the FM station the device broadcasts to.
Nice things about this item: it doubles as an iPhone charger, easy to use, and compact. No need to remove your car’s stereo or do any electrical work.
Sound quality isn’t that great. My brother has a similar unit and says it depends on your car’s antenna. My antenna is on the outside. There is quite a bit of static that goes in and out. At other times, the sound is pretty clear. It’s hard to tell what factors contribute to this. Sometimes the device will sound better on a frequency that already has a station broadcasting on it.

For as little as it costs, this product performs very well in my opinion. Its charging my ipod nano. I earlier had Belkin fm transmitter, which does not charge my ipod nano and the sound quality is great when it comapred with Belkin which I had. I used it throughout my trip to washington dc, I had to change the channel only one time. The remote is also working fine. It is very user friendly. I would recommend it for friends.

I read all the other reviews saying it worked to different degrees. So for less than [...], I ordered it. It came within a week in a unmarked bubble wrap, but all the peices were there. The unit is held together with two small screws. One was missing, but little crazy glue did the job. Plugged in and it works great on many stations, in the car and in the house.

Don’t get this product if you are looking to listen to your Ipod through your radio. Terrible reception on any station I tried. If you are looking to use it to charge only, it works.
