With a little research, I found out that this adapter is based on the Netgear WNDA3100V2, which can be purchased for $30 less here at Amazon. I bought one and installed it yesterday. Works perfectly and I believe it is a better adaptor because it works with a dual band Netgear router.

I bought this because I did not want to run a Cat 6 line through my house. The adapter is easy to setup. I have my wireless security set to no broadcast, WPA. I followed the prompts for a manual setup on the display and it was easy. The paper instructions are worthless.
I, too, get pauses during a Netflex broadcast. It does not bother me. If it does occur, it usually happens early in the movie and only once.

I’m using this with a Panasonic TC-P50G20 TV. As soon as it was plugged in, I was prompted to join a wireless network. Showed all Wi-Fi available with signal strength and type, a b g or n (very nice). Works perfectly with my Apple airport.Very easy setup, just followed the prompts. No Netflix yet, but youtube , Bloomberg etc work fine. It comes with a 3 ft USB extension cable which made hiding it much easier. Otherwise the dongle sticks out a little if plugged directly into the left side USB port. A bit expensive for what it is, but apparently nothing else will work. PS,there was already a update for the TV that was painless to install.

The Panazonic TC-P50G25 50″ Plasma with Viera Cast is nearly everything I hoped it would be. The clarity, colors, sound, and most features are right on the money.
I do have a big problem, however, that is keeping me from giving this a 5 star and for the moment, preventing me from enjoying all the aspects of the TV that I had hoped for.
It has to do with Viera Cast. I chose this particular TV because I wanted to enjoy such online content as YouTube and Pandora Internet Radio. I wasn’t overly pleased that I needed to purchase separately for $90 from Amazon a Panasonic DY-WL10 Wireless LAN Adaptor to make this happen, but went with it.
Unfortunately, after going through the manual process for the “connection test,” I received approving check mark up until the last line — Viera Cast. There I received an X, or “Connection to the server failed — Check communication with the Viera server.”
Or, in other words, I have yet to be able to access any online content, though the TV is shown as active or connected on my network. I have FiOS and a wireless router. I have spoken to Panasonic and FiOS techs and have been bounced back and forth with no solutions to date.
If anyone who has the Panasonic DY-WL10 Wireless LAN adapter and used the manual method to connect to the Viera server successfully has any advice for me, I am all ears and eyes???

I bought the blu-ray dvd player last week and I was told that the dvd player had a wireless capacity but that the adaptor was not included. This adaptor is not available anywhere at this time— May 13, 2010. I called Panasonic (because you cannot pre-order it on the web) and was told to call back in a couple of weeks. It is not available on amazon or anywhere else. I would have thought that Panasonic would actually have the foresight to stock an adaptor that is required for the dvd unit–since no other adaptor will work.
